Watusi 2 is a well maintained and excellently equipped S&S 44, steel, ocean ready cruising yacht, fully equipped to sail around the world. Just pack your suit case jump on board and Go!
In 2023, in preparation for an Ocean crossing, installed a new 9" raymarine chart plotter with new 3d imaging transducer, and a new Raymarine Radar.
A new Yamaha 9.9 hp motor was also bought is 2023 to power the 2.7 meter AB rib tender.
More recently, in 2025, the boat was on the hardstand in Rebak Marina, where the non-skid deck areas were re-painted, and fresh antifoul was applied. She was only re-launched in April 2025. The owners have just left to head back to there home base in Thailand, leaving Watusi 2 here in Rebak Marina, and in a ready to go condition.

This is a true solid blue water cruising boat. A center cockpit boat, with a large aft state room and head, and fore and aft galley, and a spacious V Berth.
Her refit, only 5 years ago, included new anchor and chain, new mast wiring, new lights, new rigging, new turnbuckles, new topside paint (Awlgrip), new deck paint (Awlgrip), new sails, and a new dinghy and outboard.
With COVID in between, many of the items from this refit have been sparsely used. Motor, genset and all other systems are always maintained and serviced regularly.She also comes with a brand new top of the range Schenker Smart 60 ERS 220VAC (2025). With Lithium batteries and4 x 144 watt panels, she is ready for truly independent cruising.
